Educarium is the main building of the Faculty of Education. It is located within a walking distance from the city centre (1,5 km).
To take a bus to the symposium venue, bus lines 50, 51, 53 and 54 run from the corner of the Market Square, ("Kauppatori" in Finnish) from the Eerikinkatu street, to "Ylioppilaskylä" direction every 15 minutes. The last stop by the Spa Hotel Caribia is just across the road from Educarium (pedestrian tunnel going under the road).
Accessibility in Educarium building
As a rule easy accessibility within doors
- Two main entrances, which open automatically.
- There is a lift to the second floor of the library that you can use with the assistance of the staff. The lifts in Educarium are spacious and equipped with automatic sliding doors and letterpress push buttons.
- On the entrance floor, you can find a toilet for the disabled to the left when heading for the library. There is also a toilet for the disabled on the upper floors.
