Everybody has a right to use the library. The library is on the second floor in the Medical Faculty building Medisiina next to Turku University Hospital.
The library collection covers the following subjects: medicine, dentistry and nursing. The so-called new collection in the library consists of books, handbooks and course books. Periodicals published after 1990 and also periodical issues of the current year are included in the new collection as well. Thesis, books and periodicals published before 1990 are kept in the stacks. Requested material is collected from the stacks in the basement at 12.00 and 15.00. Latokari stacks is visited only once a week.
Facilities such as study places, photocopier, fax and computers are available for study and research. One of the computers is bookable. Library services include lending services, information requests, interlibrary loans, user education and print service.
