Open-shelf collection
The open-shelf collection (PÄÄ Avo) is situated on the second floor of the Main Library. The books are arranged in alphabetical order according to subject.
The collection mainly consists of foreign literature, but also includes some Finnish books. Acquisitions to the collection have been made since 2007.
The main emphasis of acquisition is on the interdisciplinary and general sciences and on humanities and social science.
Loan period is 28 days.
