The European Documentation Centre of University of Turku serves students, researchers, public administration, the private business sector and citizens who need information on the legislation and activities of the European Union.

It is the oldest European Union Deposit Library in Finland. Due to its EDC status, the European Documentation Centre receives copies of all material included in the European Union's free copy distribution. In addition, the European Documentation Centre has access to the European Union's databases.

The collection of the European Documentation Centre (EU Collection) includes the founding treaties, legal acts and other legislative material of the EU, the documents of the Courts of justice of the European Communities, as well as activity reports, reviews, reference books, periodicals, statistics, and surveys from various fields.

The EU Collection and the information service are situated on the 2nd floor of the Library of Educational and Social Sciences.
