COURSE BOOK LIBRARY

The Course Book Library provides resources for most of the academic courses and programmes within the University of Turku. There are approximately 26 800 items in the Course Book Collection. The library is situated in Educarium with the Library of Educational and Social Sciences and European Documentation Centre. These three units have shared facilities and services for customers including Enquiries and Service Desks.
The right to use the library is primary for the staff and students of the University of Turku. However, other users are welcome as well but a valid library card is required for borrowing.
Books can be borrowed for 14 days, but there is also a short-term loan collection of the most reserved books. In this collection the loan period is two (2) days and overdue fine is 10 euros / day / book. Short-term loans can neither be renewed nor reserved. The reading room collection is available for reference and overnight/weekend loans. Overnight/weekend loans can be borrowed one hour before the closing time and they must be returned before 10 o'clock a.m.
Attention! If overnight/weekend or short-term loan is overdue, customer's borrowing rights will be suspended!
