CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Customer information register
Turku University Library keeps a register of customers. Register entry contains customer’s contact information and list of charged items, requests and recalls, fines and fees. Register information is intended only for inter-library use, and are not vouchsafed to outsiders. Detailed register information can be obtained under the heading Register description.
Changes in customer information
Customers of Turku University Library are obliged to keep their contact information, such as name and address, up-to-date.
The library receives automatically student’s name and address information changes notified to the student register.
The University personnel and other customers must notify the library of contact information changes. In addition, the university staff is advised to check that their status in the customer register is Turku University personnel.
Personal customer information can be checked through Volter database from the link Patron info. All changes (specifically in email address) should be notified either by web form, by email (kirjasto@utu.fi), by visiting any loans service desk or by phone.
Checking personal borrowing information
Customer can check charged items, requests and recalls, fines and fees, change personal identification number (PIN) and renew loans in the Volter database by clicking the heading Patron info.
